My name is Samy and I am 13 years old. When I was born, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Cerebral Palsy affects everyone differently and no two people are the same.

I am unable to stand or walk unaided and I have difficulty with my balance and sitting. The everyday tasks that others take for granted are extremely hard for me to do. I have a walker to help me get around and also have to wear splints on both of my legs to give them support.

Simple things are impossible for me to do, like get dressed, brush my hair and teeth, climb the stairs, sit on a chair.

A method of therapy called Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) has given my family and myself hope to see me walking one day.

The CME is based on the assumption that the brain is able to work around existing lesions in order to create new "wiring". That is to say that the brain is malleable and can continue its development despite the brain damage. The first thing this method is based on is the severity and the capacity that the brain has to stabilize the body in space. We then consider that gravity is the main stimulus that triggers neuromuscular system to react.

It is a powerful therapy that has proven its effectiveness but unfortunately very expensive.

Many fundraising events have been set up to enable me access this therapy and help me to change my life forever.

If everyone could donate £1 or more, if you can forward to all your friends and family my website's link and ask them to do the same we can raise together the necessary funds needed.

Alternatively, you are most welcome to help or give any suggestion you may think will help my fundraising for CME Therapy.

Thank you for taking time to look at my website.
